The reason I love Justin Johnson is because musically he is FREE - He goes where he wants to go and when you go with him it's often full of surprises and always exhilarating. As an introvert musician (INTJ) I find myself deeply drawn to this self exploratory type of musical adventure where the aim is not to please anyone else except myself, but in so doing you end up pleasing and touching far more people than you can imagine. JJ is the BOSS - I wanna play and think musically like him when I grow up and I'm 62.

At age 58, this picks me up where I started out at 12, 14, 16 and brings me right back here in front of the screen. Just love it and here's to more to come, hopefully. Keep on rocking! 🙏

SRV was my fav of all time, Jimi was second, Jeff Beck third. Been listening to JJ for a couple of years now. He just keeps pulling me back. Talent, skill, and feel. He has it in spades. I play 4 instruments and wish I could play 1 half as good as this guy. The only other guitar player whose work I could listen to for hours was Link W. JJ is or will be better that the group just mentioned. What a player.

As a huge fan of classic rock, heavy metal, and the blues, this just feels so RIGHT! Real, raw music that doesn't sound like it was recorded on a boom box mic! I had ideas like this 20 years ago when I was noodling around with my guitar and bass, but I could never get the sounds in my head to come out of my Amp. I will share this for sure!
Thank you. I am a 68-year-old music lover, especially blues. I am not in the fanatic category and I can't claim to have a great ear nor be a musician. Listening to your music is the first time in my life that the thought occurred to me: "That is how I would play, if I could". I call the blues, Buddhist music. It carries me with equanimity and contentment above the trials and tribulations of the world. It does not wallow in woes (like some crybaby country), it comes from the source of spirituality that lifts me above the world, but not so far that I leave anyone behind.
As a person with Epilepsy 🥺 I found Justin on a tik tok video 1 day & just literally turned on my blue tooth speaker grabbed my vape & went outside looked him up on utube & just relaxed & cleared my mind, his music his skills are just amazing🤘😎 I've never listened to music or guitarist like him before until now play on man play on🤘🤘😎😎
